This course starts on Thursday October 4th at 6.30pm and will run for 8 weeks with a break on Thursday 1 November. The fee for the whole course is £48. It will provide an opportunity both for those new to Mindfulness to find out more about it in a supportive atmosphere, and for those with some experience to develop their knowledge. There will be time to ask questions as well as to try out different practices and to learn easy techniques you can use to improve wellbeing in day to day life.
This course will be led by Lynne Dowson. Lynne has had a mindfulness practice for a number of years. Having experienced the benefits of mindfulness personally and been nourished by it during a difficult time, becoming a mindfulness teacher seemed a natural next step. She has previously taught Introduction to Mindfulness courses in Leeds and co-taught an MBSR course with Ken at Mindfulness Wakefield. She also attends mindfulness retreats regularly.
