Lynne Dowson, has had a mindfulness practice for a number of years. Having experienced the benefits of mindfulness personally and been nourished by it during a difficult time, becoming a mindfulness teacher seemed a natural next step. She teaches Introduction to Mindfulness courses in Leeds at Swarthmore College where she previously led the counselling training programme, she has co-taught an MBSR course with Ken at Mindfulness Wakefield, and she is training to teach Mindful Self-Compassion. She attends mindfulness retreats regularly.
